Data Deletion Instructions

Your guide to managing your data privacy and deletion requests on the JustBAU platform.

Delete My Account

If you wish to fully delete your account and all associated data, you can do this directly from your dashboard.

  1. Log in to your JustBAU account.
  2. Navigate to your Account Settings (located in the Founder Dashboard).
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the security section and click the Delete Account button.
  4. Confirm your request. Your profile, authentication records, and core data will be deleted immediately.

Delete My BAUs (Business Alias Units)

You can delete individual BAUs (your service profiles) without deleting your entire JustBAU account. This allows you to retain your account and any other active BAUs.

  1. Log in to your JustBAU account.
  2. From the Founder Dashboard, locate the BAU you wish to remove.
  3. Click on the BAU to open its editor.
  4. Navigate to the settings or danger zone for that specific BAU and select Delete BAU.

What data is deleted or kept

When you delete your account or an individual BAU, the following process occurs:

  • Deleted Data: Profile information, BAU configurations, public-facing service pages, and active authentication session records.

Data we may retain for legal, security, or compliance reasons (retention period of up to 7 years depending on local laws):

  • Financial transaction records (for tax and accounting purposes).
  • Anonymized aggregate systems data that cannot be linked back to you personally.
  • Mandatory security logs required for fraud prevention.
