# Third-party notices Everything under `workers/app/public/asset/` that JustBAU did not write, and where its licence text lives. Served at `/asset/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md`, so the notice travels with the files it covers. Licences below were copied from the upstream projects at the versions in use. Do not paraphrase them and do not edit the vendored assets themselves — `asset/vendor/phosphor-icons/` is a build output (see the Phosphor note). ## Inventory | Asset | Project | Version | Licence | Notice | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `vendor/phosphor-icons/{duotone,bold,fill}.css`, `Phosphor-*.woff2`, `Phosphor-Fill.woff` | [Phosphor Icons](https://github.com/phosphor-icons/web) | subset of 2.x | MIT | `vendor/phosphor-icons/LICENSE` | | `js/htmx.min.js` | [htmx](https://github.com/bigskysoftware/htmx) | 4.0.0 | 0BSD | below — 0BSD requires no attribution | | `js/alpine.min.js` | [Alpine.js](https://github.com/alpinejs/alpine) | 3.14.1 | MIT | below | | `js/supabase.min.js` | [supabase-js](https://github.com/supabase/supabase-js) | 2.102.1 | MIT | below | | `js/qrcode.min.js` | [qrcode-generator](https://github.com/kazuhikoarase/qrcode-generator) | 1.4.4 | MIT | below | | `js/cropper.min.js`, `css/cropper.min.css` | [Cropper.js](https://github.com/fengyuanchen/cropperjs) | 1.6.1 | MIT | inline banner in each file | | `js/sortable.min.js` | [SortableJS](https://github.com/SortableJS/Sortable) | 1.15.7 | MIT | inline banner + full text below | | `js/easy-tooltips.min.js`, `css/easy-tooltips.min.css` | [easy-tooltips](https://github.com/ewanhowell5195/easy-tooltips) | 3.5.1 | MIT | inline banner in each file | | `css/tailwind.css` | [Tailwind CSS](https://github.com/tailwindlabs/tailwindcss) | 4.2.2 | MIT | inline banner (compiled output) | | `font/instrument-sans-bold.ttf` | [Instrument Sans](https://github.com/googlefonts/instrument-sans) | not determinable | SIL OFL 1.1 | `font/OFL.txt` | | `image/us-states.svg` | Wikimedia *Blank US Map, states only* | — | CC0 | inline comment in the file | First-party, no third-party notice needed: `js/shell.js`, `js/utils.min.js` (JustBAU toast and clipboard helpers — the `.min.js` name is misleading), `css/shell.css`, `image/patterns/*.svg`, `image/hero/*`, `brand/*`, `video/*`. `DM Serif Display` and the browser copy of `Instrument Sans` are loaded from Google Fonts at runtime, not self-hosted. The self-hosted `instrument-sans-bold.ttf` is used server-side to render OG images. ## Notes worth knowing **Phosphor is generated, not vendored verbatim.** `scripts/subset-icons.mjs` rebuilds `public/asset/vendor/phosphor-icons/` from `workers/app/vendor/phosphor-full/` on every build, keeping only the glyphs and CSS rules JustBAU uses. Both directories carry the MIT `LICENSE`; the script writes individual files and does not clear the directory, so the licence survives a rebuild. The upstream version of the full sources in `vendor/phosphor-full/` is not recorded anywhere in the repo. **The Instrument Sans binary has no embedded copyright string.** Its name table looks stripped, and it carries no version, family name, or copyright record, so the upstream release it came from cannot be pinned from the file. `font/OFL.txt` alongside it carries the OFL 1.1 text and the Instrument Sans and Instrument Serif copyright lines. Neither copyright line declares a Reserved Font Name, so OFL's renaming rule does not apply. **htmx 4.0.0 is 0BSD, not MIT.** htmx moved from BSD 2-Clause to Zero-Clause BSD in January 2024. 0BSD drops the attribution requirement, so `htmx.min.js` needs no notice; its text is included below only for the record. ## Bundled Worker dependencies These are compiled into the Worker rather than served to browsers, so no browser-facing notice applies, but two are not MIT: - `@resvg/resvg-wasm` 2.6.2 — **MPL-2.0** (weak, file-level copyleft). Its `index_bg.wasm` is bundled unmodified into the deployed Worker for OG image rendering. MPL-2.0 keeps its obligations at the level of the MPL-licensed files themselves; it does not reach JustBAU's own source. - `@jsquash/webp` 1.5.0 — Apache-2.0. Its `webp_dec.wasm` is bundled unmodified. - `subset-font` 2.7.0 — BSD-3-Clause, build-time only, not shipped. - `hono` 4.x, `pg` 8.x, `@heycatch/sdk` 0.7.0 — MIT. --- ## Phosphor Icons — MIT Full text: `vendor/phosphor-icons/LICENSE`. ## htmx — Zero-Clause BSD ``` Zero-Clause BSD ============= Permission to use, copy, modify, and/or distribute this software for any purpose with or without fee is hereby granted.
